It’s sad but true. Glory Daze, the hour-long comedy (and I use that word loosely) has been canceled by TBS. The ratings weren’t horrible but they weren’t good enough for another season. Glory Daze was about 4 men pledging a fraternity in the ’80s and all the funny mishaps and love triangles that are formed as a result.
My husband was really looking forward to this show since this lined up with when he pledged his fraternity at the University of Delaware. Sadly, it was never as good as the music that was played during the show. There were some funny parts and some hysterical characters (I will miss you Eli Schwartz!) But overall, the show wasn’t nearly as good as it could have been.
Rest in peace Glory Daze. I guess I will need to break out my Squeeze, Tears for Fears, Cyndi Lauper, and Devo cassette tapes to reminisce on days gone by!
